Your Organ Has a Price

Have you ever thought of having a card that gives other people the authority to harvest your vital organs once you are dead? This can be a noble action to make since there are so many people dying because of organ failure. Donated organs are the only chance of survival for this people through organ transplants while donors are paid when they donate their organs.

Doctors who harvest organs make sure that the person is willing to donate his or her organs or at least the family of the donor agrees that the organs are to be donated. They also have to make sure that the donor is dead when they try to get his or her organs.

Some organs can be donated while the person is still alive. These organs include the kidney and the liver. We all have two kidneys and if someone finds a donor for kidney that matches the patient’s kidney then one of the kidneys will be taken out from the donor. On the other hand, the liver can be sliced and the other portion can be transplanted to the patient needing it since livers regenerate. The donor is usually paid and it was like selling your own organs to save lives.
